Congrats Graduates!Graduation is an exciting time for all. After four years of college, some graduates continue their education by attending graduate school the next semester, joining the military, or begin working in their degree field after final grades are posted and everyone has moved on. There are some graduates who God calls to serve Him and the Church. Some may decide to attend seminary or join a convent and there are some who commit to becoming campus missionaries with teams such as FOCUS or Saint Paul's Outreach. We are very proud of all of our graduates from Our Lady of Wisdom and we wish them all the very best!

MISSION STATEMENT
Our Lady of Wisdom University Parish is dedicated to the spiritual, religious, moral, intellectual, and social development of all who participate. We are a Catholic Parish community, composed of, but not limited to, students, faculty, staff, and alumni. As Christians living the life of Christ and spreading the Gospel, we are called to serve others. We seek in our worship to better our understanding of Christ and His mission for us; we pray for wisdom and support one another in this quest. -

January 19, 2012 | by Fr. Jonathan NiehausFr. Jonathan Niehaus began researching the history of the Catholic Student Center and work of the Catholic Church at Texas State University in 2006. After doing extensive research in archives at the University and at the Diocese of Austin as well as conducting many interviews, he published a book, Catholics At Texas State, in 2008. A pdf version of this book is available below. The introduction expresses his great love for the students here as well as for the Church and this ministry.
